Yara Pilbara Ammonia Plant – Turnaround Execution

Project Overview:

The Yara Pilbara Ammonia Plant, one of the world’s largest ammonia production facilities with an annual capacity of 850,000 metric tons, conducted a major turnaround in 2018. Altrad (formerly AGC) delivered 17 critical scopes of work within this turnaround window. The project aimed to ensure the facility’s operational efficiency and longevity by addressing critical piping, valve installations, and vessel replacements. The project demonstrated Altrad’s integrated service capabilities, combining fabrication, refractory, and sheet metal expertise.

Scope:

Execution of 17 work scopes, including:
